In July 2006 Rebel joined the UK's No.1 touring 'Rock 'N Roll' musical "That'll be the Day". As an actor/singer he stars as many characters throughout the show performing over 200 dates a year.

During 2005 Rebel teamed up with Heath Ashton; (GMTV winner), to write, produce, direct and star in Rock 'N' Roll Forever.

This time Rebel played himself, the show also included Reuven Guershon; (from Buddy - West End), as the "Compere" and Ellie Scott as the "50's female icon".

There were various tour dates all over the UK from March until October 2005.

During the summer of 2003 Rebel became writer, producer, director and star of his own musical Rebel Dean's "Let's Rock".

The show ran for the summer season in the Falmouth Pavillions and the Palace Theatre Paignton.

Rockin' on Heavens Door

Between September 2000 and June 2006 Rebel starred in the show "Rockin' on Heaven's Door" as Eddie Cochran.

Rebel as EddieRebel toured England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, the Middle East and Holland with the show. The highlight of it all was performing at the London Palladium.

From March until July 2000 Rebel starred as Elvis once again in Bill Kenwrights 'Elvis the Musical' on yet another extensive UK tour.

Four Steps to Heaven

It was 1988 when Rebel was chosen to star in the hit musical 'Four Steps to Heaven' as Elvis. 

Rebel as the middle Elvis 1968There he met and worked with director Keith Strachan, who had worked with a young Shakin Steven's in Elvis The Musical 20 years earlier.

Rebel as the Las Vegas 70's ElvisThis was the first time that Rebel worked for the legendary producer Bill Kenwright. Rebel started the show as the 1950's Elvis then opened the second half in the leather '68 special suit. Ending the show as the 70's Vegas Elvis.

Rebel as the Las Vegas 70's ElvisThere are not many actors who can convincingly portray all three eras but Keith Strachan chose Rebel, and Rebel threw every ounce of himself into the part.

Rebel as the Las Vegas 70's ElvisThe highlight of the show was three months at the Picadilly Theatre in the West End of London after an extensive tour of the British Isles.

Rebel Dancing Annie Get Your Gun

In April 1990 Rebel danced and acted in the famous show "Annie Get Your Gun" for the R.A.O.S.T.

Rebel with Annie Pat Durnley starred as Annie whilst Rebel co-starred with Tanya Trerice as the romantic leads. Rebel's portrayal of Frank Butler was praised by local press at the time.

Rebel's second pantomime for the R.A.O.S.T. In 1989, and this time cast as the Sultan, who needs Dick Whittington's help to rid his palace of rats and Rebel acts out pages and pages of script each night to the audiences delight.

Another shot of Rebel as the SultanRebel went to the Scilly Isles for a short tour and learnt the script whilst in his holiday cottage at the time. "There were very few distractions on the beautiful islands which made it the ideal location to learn the script" he later commented.

The pantomime Cinderella in 1987, a classic in it's own right and directed by top West End director Robin Sherringham was Rebel's first pantomime.

Rebel as the Rhinestone CowboyThis R.A.O.S.T. Interpretation took the audience to far-away places as part of the storyline. Rebel performed "Rhinestone Cowboy" as the audience took a magical journey to America and then performed "Copacabana" as the audience were transported to the Latin countries.

The Finale CinderellaThis Christmas classic played to sell-out audiences in the thousand seater theatre.

In April 1987 Rebel starred as the "Teen Angel" in the hit musical "Grease" for the R.A.O.S.T.

Rebel as the Pharoah Joseph and the Technicolour Dreamcoat

In 1981 Rebel had his first starring role as the Pharoah in "Joseph and the Technicolour Dreamcoat".

Aged only 15 and still at school, his performance seemed remarkably polished and he showed the begginings of the talent that would launch his career. Director Kathy Williams said he'd done a wonderful job, and Rebel was treated differently from then on by both teachers and school-mates.

At the age of 12 Rebel was a member of Fagin's gang in the hit musical "Oliver", it was his first taste of real theatre.

Like most school children there are many nativity plays and dramas which are performed throughout the years but which are never fully documented, Rebel was no different, these are important to family and friends at the time but are not considered important enough to be included on the website.
